Lavenham is an English manufacturer of high quality country clothing and horse rugs. The brand was founded in 1969 and produced the first nylon quilted horse blanket, closely followed by matching jackets and waistcoats for the rider.

 

The name quickly spread and Lavenham established a reputation for quality and durability with its nylon quilted products.

 

Today, people are still passionate about the brand for pretty much the same reasons as 40 years ago. True to its commitment to in-house manufacturing, Lavenham oversees every stage of production at its Sudbury facilities, from cutting to quilting to final inspection of the goods. The best raw materials are sourced in the British Isles whenever possible, right down to the interlining used.
